Born from a single
dry sink.
In 1969, Joyce Eddy was given the chance to operate a small antique shop above an old laundromat. In 1972, she enlisted the help of a friend — a cabinet maker — to craft a small dry sink. That single piece marked the beginning of Habersham.
"Joyce enlisted the help of woodworkers from her beloved North Georgia region — an area that had been a center for cabinet making since the early 1800s, with master craftsmen well- schooled in time-tested woodworking and joinery techniques."
Now, as then, the Habersham name is synonymous with quality craftsmanship. Over more than 50 years, the company has expanded to offer luxury fine furnishings and custom cabinetry for the entire home — each piece still built the way Joyce intended.
