Habersham is growing and is looking for new production team associates to keep up with our demand. We are seeking a self-motivated engineer/draftsman.

Role and Responsibilities
Are you a creative problem-solver that enjoys working on unique challenges? At Habersham most of our work is custom-made, and thus each project is different from the last. As a production team member, you will work with others to provide creative solutions to our client’s problems. Responsible for the engineering of fine furniture, cabinetry, and parts that comprise each.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Preferred degree in Manufacturing engineering
• Applicants must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.
• Experience in CAD software required. We use SolidEdge and CabinetVision.
• Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to perform detailed engineering work under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Quality Management. May require consultation and direction to complete the essential duties and responsibilities.
• Understands Basic Fundamentals of Engineering Principles
• Ability to effectively manage time.
• Ability to handle multiple task assignments.
• Ability to translate quality requirements into product specifications.
Preferred Skills
• Good Mathematical and Measuring Skills
• Personal Attributes: Dependable, Detail-Oriented, Problem Solver
• Basic knowledge of woodworking and manufacturing processes (preferred)
• Experience in tooling/programming for CNC machines.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

At Habersham most of our work is custom-made, you will not face the monotony of a typical factory job, as each project is different from the last. As a production team member, you will work with others to provide creative solutions to our client’s problems.
· Responsible for the production of fine furniture, cabinetry, and parts that comprise each.
· Mill Workers – prepare materials and components for use by our assembly team.
· Wood Workers – assemble materials and components for use by our finishing team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· High School or equivalent (preferred)
· Applicants must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.
PREFERRED SKILLS
· Good Mathematical and Measuring Skills
· Personal Attributes: Dependable, Detail-Oriented, Problem Solver
· Basic knowledge of woodworking
· Some experience using various sawing, shaping machines, and hand tools. (Not required)
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Schedule:
· Monday-Friday 6AM-4PM
· Saturday 6AM-12PM + Overtime (dependent on production needs)
