Biltmore ™ Celebrates 20 Years of Licensing

Habersham Biltmore Valencia TableThis year, Biltmore’s licensing division celebrates its 20th anniversary.  As they report in their anniversary press release, the licensing program was created to “provide visitors and enthusiasts a more meaningful collection of commemorative items to celebrate the hospitality and warmth of the Biltmore experience.”

Habersham became a Biltmore furniture licensee in the Spring of 2004.  Since then, we have continued to expand our  collection of upscale furniture designs inspired by the art, architecture, history and hospitality that defined the landmark Asheville, N.C. estate at the turn of the century.

“My great-grandfather, George Vanderbilt, brought together an amazing collection of antiques and shared his treasures with a multitude of guests over the years,” says Bill Cecil, Jr. President and CEO of The Biltmore Company.  “Today, Biltmore hosts nearly one million visitors each year.  We’re proud to be able to offer our guests and others the chance to bring the inspiration of Biltmore House into their home with Biltmore’s licensed partners.”

Building on this great tradition, we’re always working on new designs that reflect the exceptional elegance, rich detail and artistry of the license’s premium brand, Biltmore Chateau Reserve.   Among one of our most popular designs  is the Valencia Round Table, shown here, which captures some of the architectural elements found throughout the home.  Look for more information on our newest designs coming soon and if you’d like to learn more about Biltmore, be sure to visit their website – www.biltmore.com
