Dining Designs

23-8197 Venetian BreakfrontThere was a time when the dining room was viewed as that formal, rarely used place for the occasional special gathering.  As great rooms and eat-in kitchens have become more popular, we’re seeing changes in today’s dining rooms as well.  While many homes still maintain the separate, dedicated dining room, consumers are using them a little differently.  This room might still be the place for those special occasions, but the looks are not quite as formal.  Furnishings and colors that exude a touch of casual, relaxed elegance seem to lead the way in today’s dining room.

At Habersham, we’re responding with dining designs that reflect a sense of grand European style, but feature warm, rich, hand-rubbed finishes and soft curves that are casual, relaxed and elegant.

Among our newest designs is the Venetian Breakfront, shown here.  Echoing the stately and lavish palazzos of its namesake city, this piece blends 18th century Italian architectural treatments with a modern approach to functionality.  The center console includes four adjustable glass shelves, two lights and two drawers.  Each end features three adjustable glass shelves, one light and one drawer.  We’ve used our warm, neutral Sandemar Multicolor Studio finish to complete the relaxed look.  To see some of our dining designs, click here.
