www.foodforthepoor.com — In an effort to get as many aid items into Haiti as quickly as possible, Food For The Poor is directing food, water and medical supplies into the Dominican Republic to be sent over the border and into the hands of the hurting Haitian people. The charity also will be sending pallets of critically needed medical items by air directly into Port-au-Prince.
www.worldvision.org — World Vision’s staff in Haiti is distributing first aid kits, along with Family Survival Kits containing items such as water containers, cooking sets, hygiene kits, and more.You can give online or by calling 1.888.56.CHILD (888-562-4453).
