I was reviewing the Market Square building website ( www.marketsquareandsuites.com ) and felt that their theme, “experience the change,” perfectly captured the message we wanted to share with our own customers for the April 17-22, 2010 Market. Like the Market Square building itself, which is undergoing a comprehensive renovation for Spring, we’re almost finished with the complete renovation of our own showroom –space 142 on the first floor of Market Square. The goal? To help visually communicate how our line has changed and evolved over the years.
Designed by Barbara Garrison, Dalton and Associates, Inc., High Point, NC, our redesigned space will include:
NEW YORK LOFT:
The space opens with a New York loft environment. Here, contemporary art and a host of other modern, eclectic accessories are cleverly merchandised with our furniture, upholstery and a galley kitchen cabinetry design.
EUROPEAN ANTIQUE MARKET ENVIRONMENT
As you move through the space, you’ll see that the next section reflects the look and feel of the famed open-air Paris antique markets — filled with antiques, architectural elements and other accessories. This area will feature a wide variety of our grand scale and accent pieces in a host of decorated and hand-styled finishes – all merchandised among accessories reflecting an expansive range of decorating and design styles.
DESIGN CENTER
We also now feature a new “design center” area featuring plenty of workspace and tables for you to meet with your rep to discuss your store needs, home plans and other design projects. This area is surrounded by easy-access racks showcasing all of our finish options, fabric swatches from the Habersham Feathers upholstery line, catalogs and other planning tools.
We’ll also unveil two brand new kitchen displays, as well as a new master bath display to highlight our latest custom cabinetry features and finish options. I’ll be posting more updates on the showroom space soon. We hope to see you in April!
