One of the categories I really enjoy designing for is Entertainment Centers. I love the challenge of finding ways to blend architectural design influences with modern functionality.
The Spoleto Home Theater design , shown here, is one such example. With this design, I looked to some of the Romanesque architectural motifs and styles found on facades of grand buildings in Spoleto, a lovely town in the heart of Italy’s Umbria region. I called upon these elements to help frame a design that can house a TV up to 54”.
The center unit has one adjustable wood shelf, one fixed shelf, two open compartments and two flip up doors. The two ends each have three adjustable wood shelves and one door. We’ve also designed this piece so it can be customized to meet your specific size and space needs.
We introduced this design during the Fall 2009 High Point market and it was very well received by the design community. We will also be putting the spotlight on it again during the Fall 2010 edition.. To see some of our other popular entertainment center designs, click here.
